Greetings loved ones and community members, my name is Moon Elise Warner, and I am a Black and trans sound, movement and visual artist. I am releasing my debut album this December 17th, 2024. In my work, I engage with emotionality and the impact of state violence on our inner worlds: how we navigate life under capitalism and colonial empire.

I’ll be having an EP Release Party on the same day • December 17th • in collaboration with Khadija Tudor and my loving family at the Life Wellness Center on Tompkins Ave. There will be tea and warm blankets and heaters and lots of nice smelling incense and great company to rest your head and listen in a moment of stillness. Masks are required.

I would like to extend immense gratitude to Dr. Kwami Coleman for his support, encouragement and guidance throughout this project. This would not have been possible without him, nor the help of my friends and loved ones who teach me and hold me every day. I am forever indebted to you all.

KN95 masks will be offered upon arrival and required throughout the event’s duration outside of moments of eating or drinking (please eat and drink in the outside courtyard as much as possible to reduce COVID transmission). Testing prior to the event is encouraged.
